Josephine is a freelance and contract art director and graphic designer focussing on corporate communication through art direction, editorial design, brand identity and publication design with an emphasis on typography. She has been working for publishers like Condé Nast Germany, Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin and DIE ZEIT as well as other major companies such as Lufthansa Airlines and Hypovereinsbank for the past nine years.
In 2017, while working for Hamburg based content marketing agency Territory, she won a national pitch creating a 80+ page conference publication for UN-based UNEP Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) conference in Manila, Philippines. The publication was awarded by the Mercury Excellence Award 2017/2018 in New York City.
She thoroughly enjoys collaborating with a network of amazing international talents to bring visual stories to life. She is motivated to keep growing and taking on new challenges in the pursuit of excellent design and implementation for all.
Since 2018 she has been dividing her time between the east coast of the US and Germany, focussing especially on editorial and corporate identity projects as well as social media strategies.
